ACTIVISION BRINGING FPS VERSION OF THE WALKING DEAD TO LIFE
Terminal Reality and Activision are bringing another video game based on Robert Kirkman’s zombie apocalypse graphic novel The Walking Dead to market. This time it’s a First Person Shooter styled game with stealth elements based on the AMC television version of the property with players taking on the role of Daryl Dixon (an original character created for the tv series).
Small details on the game are slowly being revealed like the story which takes place sometime before the events of the television series with Daryl and his brother Merle traveling to Atlanta for safety after the initial zombie outbreak.
Players will run across various characters who may help or hurt Daryl’s chances for survival. They will also have to manage food, ammunition and supplies as they make their way.
The Walking Dead is scheduled to release sometime next year in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
